This beach is very popular amongst the locals and tourists alike. My advice is to get there early so you get a prime spot. There's a crowd, but it's worth it!
I was just at Johnson's beach 7/20/19-7/24/19 and it was packed each day. We moved down stream because of the crowd.
It would depend on the day weekends usually more people
Not super crowded, but there's plenty of people and room.
