Sun up to sun down is what I've experienced
a friend told me he takes his kids out there and they have a blast.. So keep trying... Due to habitat crab habitat its closed to all for a small time of the year its open April 1st thru October 15th sun up to sun down
I think sun up to sun down. I don't recall there being a gate.
