I took I-94 to N 4th Street following until taking a right on 3rd Ave S. Just as you start looping around the convention center (on your right) there will be a ramp and a surface lot on your left with easy access and free parking for Covid services. I'm sure there are shorter ways but for folks that don't get to the "cities" often this was very easy and comfortable
GPS took me south on 35W. Then 94 West. Then 11th St exit. Then left on 2nd Ave S for 1 block. Plaza Municipal Parking Ramp is on the right just south of S 12th St. The entrance takes you underground. Take a ticket and turn left in the ramp. Go straight until you have to turn left. This is the elevator that will take up to the skyway. Park close. Or go up one level and park close to the elevator.
I did exactly as Mark Schumacher did. Works slick. Just be sure you go to the 3rd Ave side of the Convention Center and then just follow the signs and/or parking attendant. The entrance for vaccines is right across from the ramp.
I followed 2nd street down to the convention center.
Free bus no parking from downtown mpls,take lite rail on city bus,no problem
Enter on 3rd, there are signs and cops directing traffic, basically a ramp and surface lot with gates open.
