the flag as with all BIG flag does not last long due to the weight and wind stress on the flag. it has to be repaired or replaced on a regular basis.
I don't know who owns uptown station. The flag is taken down from time to time. Many factors for this, though since the erection of the tallest flag pole in the state of Florida, the flag is never down for long.

Odom originally owned it he sold it and still owns the new side. Maybe Odom could ask the company who owns that side why the flag is not flying
