You do not need a permit to sell at treasure city if you are just gonna have a one time garage sale. However if you want to sale on a regular basis you will need a tax ID # through the State!

Check with the city
They have garage type units that you can keep your sale items in on a regular basis and lock the door at the end of the day...those units are $50.00 per month if you want to start a small business and probably need a tax ID for that?..not sure because sellers usually don't charge tax when selling items...The last time I rented a booth for a day($14.00) I asked the guy in the office about the tax situation and he told me not to worry about it...maybe the guidelines have changed...the best way to find out accurate information on taxes is to either ask someone in the office of Treasure City Flea Market or ask someone at City Hall.
