This rest stop is not in Malad Idaho. This is on I-84 West/East near Black Pine and Juniper There is one just south of Malad but it's on I-84 North/South.

I 84 is an east west road. In that location, it may go north south but when you're driving south on that stretch, you are actually east bound.

The one by Malad Idaho is on I-15. North and south
