Large rest area with trails that meander through the trees. Other than it being close to 100 degrees outside, it would be a great place for a picnic. Still nice place to stretch my legs and let my dogs walk some.

The rest area between Houston and Dallas is nice and safe. Has 24/7 security. Plenty of parking spots. Has vending machines. It’s also a storm shelter. The rest rooms are always clean. The only thing you have to worry about is to watch out for snakes in the greens. Recommend this rest area for little zzzz’s when tired during road trips between Houston and Dallas.

Wonderful rest area. Clean and well maintained facilities. Beautiful themed decor, walking trail and a nice playground area for the kiddos.

This is a well-situated rest area for those traveling from Houston to Dallas. Those needing a kidney break will appreciate the clean restrooms... in fact the entire facility is clean and well maintained. . There are other amenities like vending and picnic tables. There is even a walking trail with markers do you can see how far you've stretched your legs. . Importantly, there is a tornado storm shelter if you are caught out. . In my view, this is a fine alternative if you don't want to deal with the crowds at Buc-ees.
