Its a hotel as well. There wasn't any postings saying no food. However you are far away from towns there unless you are ok with a 20 min drive. So bring it with you first if you choose..
Plaquemine Town is a 15-minute ride. Restaurants and shops there. You can bring your own food and drinks. Rooms have a fridge.
Yes you can bring outside food. Other than breakfast, i would recommend. My meal (1 filet , 3 stalks of asparagus, mashed potatoes, and a bowl of soup) was over 60 dollars and waffle house would have tasted better.
Like any hotel you can bring what you like in. There are places to eat outside- benches, chairs and such.
Our duplex cottage had a kitchen. The breakfast there is excellent, though. Buy anything you think you will need before you arrive. I suggest walks on the levee. We had no issues with taking our own drinks up to sit on the balcony, too. It is a very welcoming, relaxing atmosphere.
You don't have to eat breakfast at Nottoway plantation but the closet place. Is about 5 to 6 miles
Yes you can into your own room. But not into eating venues
Staying there is considered a privilege to many, we like creole not fast food.
No you can bring it back and have it in your room or on porch
You can bring in outside food if you want. The nearest areas to get anything is about 20-30 minutes away. However, the on site restaurant is HIGHLY recommended if you're looking for a unique dinning experience with outstanding food. Hope this helps.
