Bring water. If you bring one of those big trucker cups you can get it filled with soda for $1 instead of buying a $10 soda. There is a ice cream shop in the middle of the park that sells like a 4 scoop ice cream for $5 but its more like 12 scoops it is big enough for our family of 5 to share!!! Have fun!!! Bring walking shoes and leave everything at home or get a locker. A lot of people bring wagons or strollers to carry clothes and towels and drinks in. If you are bigger you won't fit on any of the rides :-(
They have a magic show that it's really good. The magician is the son of the owner and performs in Las Vegas during the off season, he even won first place in a competition against other theme parks like Disney and Six Flags. The train was won in a bid war against Disney. The corkscrew roller coaster was the first coaster of it's kind ever made and was purchased from Knott's Berry farm. The Spin Cycle is the only ride of it's kind in the United States. A lot of the original rides were bought from a fair that closed down.
The train ride is a welcomed mid-day break from walking around. I have found it is a nice after-lunch chill time for kids to wind down and even nap. The show is super entertaining, but not super loud, so you can relax. Also, scarywood in october is fun. They hire local actors to scare people all through the park. They also alter the rides a bit to make them "Halloween-y".
You can ride some rides after dark.
Dragonfly, roller coaster and waterslide
It's so cool to walk through silverwood and look at everything. The rides were awesome especially the water boats.
There is something at Silverwood for everyone parents with young kids can enjoy the rides and activities in that area and everyone else can enjoy all the other rides the water parks everything everything about Silverwood is cool enjoy yourself
To maximize your time in specific areas of the park, change up your schedule and don’t eat when everyone else does. The best time for roller coasters is in the hottest part of the day because all the families are at boulder beach. Also most of the roller coaster used to belong to other parks before they came to silverwood. There is a pretty cool history behind them all.
