What a nice, clean, safe and affordable place to shoot! It was a little hard to find at first because Google Maps doesn't give you the right directions, it's really simple though. Head north on E Perimeter Rd at the traffic circle on the 54. Once you're headed north on E Perimeter Rd it will be on your right side. There is big sign that says Farragut Shooting Range, you can't miss it. Google Maps doesn't tell you this and it can be very frustrating driving around in the park and hitting closed gates trying to get to the range.

I just love this place. Very safe with Range Safety Officers on site at all times. 5 dollars per shooter so it a cheep date. Shoot when it's raining is fine here. Great family fun! This map showing is not correct. That road is now closed. Enter from East Perimeter Road. Update: New Archery Range is now open. Twenty lanes out in the forest. It's 3D targets. I have added some pictures of the range and targets. The archery range is 1 mile long through the forest but, it's an easy walk. Everyone loves it and it's only 5 bucks for either range.

The best place to shoot. Families are welcome here and it's only $5 per shooter all day. There are Range Safety Officers here too just to keep everyone safe. This range is a state park and operated by Idaho State Fish and Game. It's open seasonally Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can shoot most anything here. Come have fun.
