So I’m going to grow hemp this year for the first time. Will the chickens leave them alone? Or will they eat my plants?

They won’t eat the plant , they will dig in the dirt, they will eat the seeds, However that is not to say they won’t destroy plants. They absolutely will devastate them! But they are worth it, fence in your plants they will stay out.

Chickens won't eat most any plant.

Good question. I'd guess they will eat the seedlings pronto. However, after the plants get mature they will actually "weed and feed" the hemp plants. Long ago practice farmers used to keep weeds out of their fields. Your hemp plants must be a foot or two tall to withstand the chickens desires to peck them. Also, chickens might do well eating some of the hemp....as a calm, cool, relaxed and hungry chicken will produce more eggs and meat. Give it a try...."happy hempin" 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😍😍😍😍😍
