Alligators but people still swim and kayak.
We were at the swimming hole three times this week and did not see any alligators or signs that they were nesting/sunning on the banks, and we were swimming but never let our guard down..this is florida and they are everywhere..usually they are afraid of us unless people feed them
This is Florida,always alligators,but dont let that stop you!
I would NOT swim in the river, there are some big ones there. But the lake is fine, there is a rope swing at a good vantage point where you can see the whole lake and keep an eye out.
