Long term resident in site 28 right east of the pool would let their little dog bark constantly at night and early morning. Lots of contractors living here and Harleys revving about.

We stayed last week for 2 days. Everything was great. We tent camped. The staff was so friendly, helpful and just really great people. Absolutely loved the pool. Bathroom and showers were clean. No trash on the grounds. It is a bit rustic but in a good way. Will definitely be back.

I try to be an optimist, so against most of the recent 1 star reviews, I booked 8 nights here for spring break. We left 3 days early. The people in the office seem very nice, the groundskeeper Eddie was super friendly and seemed to work very hard mowing, raking stone and doing other maintenance type work around the property. The pool was very clean but was too cold for anyone to enjoy. My issues with this campground are (1) there is no playground for kids (2) our site #27 was all sand, there was no stone or gravel, so it was impossible for anything and everything to not get completely covered (3) while I understand hurricane Michael completely devastated this area nearly 4 years ago, the mobile homes that are still vacant & trashed within the park made the park feel nothing like a resort. I really hope the owners can get the funds/help they are lacking to turn this place around.

I hate doing reviews like this and I totally understand this area was devastated by hurricane Michael and it takes time to rebuild. But, there are better places to stay than this place. The pictures are not a very good description of the place. I don't understand how you can call this a RV Resort when there are NO RV RESORT Amenities on the property! Our site was a mud hole with no stone. The Tiki bar looks like it hasn't been used in years. Wifi was weak, no cable, sewer connections covered up with dirt, no lighting, run down mobile homes and permanent residences working on their cars. We left before our time was up and went somewhere else. Didn't even ask for a refund. Maybe they can use that money to buy some stone at least.

You should call them.
I don't know the cabins are 600 but thry include electric so it is probably cheaper than that
U should call around there is a new campground opened closer than rustic sands on 386 not sure of the name
I think campsites are around $25/night if you're a Passport America member. Twice that if you aren't
Its pretty junky grass not cut and not far from trash pile
Billy’s good! 👍
Yes there is year round sites and the whole place is cleaned up and improving every day
Yes, our family actually stayed there last year in a tent space and we had a wonderful time, the staff is very friendly, they have a pool, a bar, indoor space sitting and close to beautiful beaches. This year we are going back and will stay in a cabin for an amazing price. The only thing I will like to point is that this is not a "fancy" campground it is as it says in its name, rustic and simple but in a good way. Not with the high end luxuries just family having fun without the new modern distractions. I personally like it because the kids are force to get out and actually interact, play and have fun. Love it!!
Monthly rates are $700 tax included but for May June & July our rates are $ 952 tax included that's our summer rates
They should have your information with site number on a paper by front door.
Yes, they must be on a leash and you must clean up after them we love that place.
Yes! Some were camping and having fire pit overnight.
Did not see one but if you rent a site you will have 50 amps on it so you can charge
I think so the city if golf cart friendly you can drive everywhere in the city but stay of 98 unless you have yours street legal
We will be back! Me my wife and our family that come visit for days Love it. Good people live and visit it. Beautiful public beach .8 miles away.
Real campground. On the mend from hurricaines...but very nice place and close to the gulf beaches. Love the people!!! Was with Passport America list too. Not sure today!!!
Around 700 a month, but the hurricane really tore it up not sure if it will be open for those months.
Wrong! They have electric and water for all sites!!
Wifi good on our last visit.. its rustic and its in the name!
Call the office to verify discount dates
No discounts in season
1 bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with 2 twin mattresses and a couch that lets out to a full size. Bring sheets and towels. Pots & pans and dishes are provided
Yes, clean although had that "Lysol" type smell. We were there last July for four days. Park nerds some TLC. Long term residents that neef to clean up. Pool had algae on one wall, they cleaned the pool about an hour after I spoke to a lady in the front office. Friday and Saturday night Tiki bar with live musice eas nice. BYOC: Bring your own chairs. Stay there again? Yes we will. Oh-find "Toucans" on the beach side, great food, cold beer
Its $53.76 a night Thats including tax. I called last week 4-4-18
$700 but check if you can use Passport America. It may cut that in half.
Yes they do. I went to the club house to use my computer for better service. We really enjoyed this campground. Make sure you get a Calzone if they are making them while you are there, they are the best!
They take Passport America so the 50% discount for off season is about $25/night. You'll want to call them to see if they offer a weekly or monthly discount and also when the off season rates stop.
