Such a lovely campground! Camping is $16/ night + $3 for your vehicle. Plenty of spots for RVs, and if you want to tent camp (which I did), you go to the overflow loop. The entire campground is well kempt, and the trail around the lake is super easy and nice. It looked like every tent site on the overflow loop has a table and a fire pit. My plot didn't have an electrical hookup, but I don't think any spots on the overflow loop do. Wasn't an issue at all though. If you're interested in astronomy, this place is great! Last I checked it's a Bortle 4 sky. On a good clear night after the moon has set, you can see the milky way with your own eyes here. It's incredible. I'll definitely be back!

This campground is our all time favorite. It is convenient to where we live, is well managed, is very clean, and kid friendly. The only thing we don't like is no phone service or Wifi and it is not conveniently located to grocery stores. Highly recommend.

Great Campground tucked away. Quiet, lazy place to unwind. Larry & Edith have been camp hosts for about 2 years, they are an awesome couple and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Although, I think they went on a much needed vacation June 1, 2019. Clean bathroom at each of the 2 loops, each campsite has picnic table, fire ring, very shady & all are on concrete pads for a level spot. Tents can still camp there too, just in a grassy area. Great area for fishing, hiking, day use with beach area for swimming, grilling, swinging, also basketball goal & horseshoes. Horses are welcome and they have their own camp.

Nice for rv camping. If you want to tent camp, go to the over flow area

No. Sorry.
No reservations; first come first serve
It is a first come, first serve type park. It is an honor pay system, with checks by the campground host and the national Forest service. Bring cash for payment.
I'd say it's safe. Been going there for years.

tent and rv are both $16.00 per night
Just wear some orange as a precaution & keep on the designated trails and you should be just fine.
They do not take reservations. There is only one spot that is a full hook up site. Each site has electricity and water. They do have a dump station for black water.
Been going there for 50 years! The Ranger told us to keep it in a cup and be discrete. Family Facility!
Thank you so much. I'll definitely check in and find out. I've heard a lot of great things about there.
They are closed January 1 to March 1 and you can only rent a spot for 14 days at a time
