In the end, it's like South America inside. You'll likely already be dressed for the conservatory just remember to drink before going in because of the humidity; tell the staff if you have any problems, they'll help.
No, Ive gone with blaring summer sun and as long as you bring ice cold drinks and dress appropriately, you will be fine :)
It depends on what you're used to. it will feel tropical I have seen multiple butterfly conservatory including the one in Arizona where it is much hotter
We had a great visit in late June with high temperatures locally. I come from a hot climate in Australia and didn't find it uncomfortable. Great suggestions by other reviewers, this visit was one of the highlights of my stay in Western Massachusetts, highly recommended tourist and educational attraction.
