The answer is - "Maybe". Depends on many, many things - timing, RV vs. tent, size of rig, length of stay, karma... Best to call ahead to get a sense. Some weekends in summer sell-out in reservable land when we start taking reservations, which is year-to-year, beginning the first business day in January. We also offer "drop-in, non-reservable" sites, but these get few and far between in the peak season.
They have a limited number of first come first serve spots available. If you are planning on staying for any length of time in the summer you will want to look into making a reservation. They have certain weekends that book up completely months in advance. Their online reservation option should be open now for this upcoming summer.
You don't need them, but pending on the season you may want them. You can call them and check how full they are.
