Depends on the water level. Check with the ranger first. We saw a lot bission crossing to the wilderness area.
It really depends on the little Missouri river. If there is enough water then it would be fine. Pretty shallow, but it would be worth it to go and bring the kayaks along. Plenty of hiking trails.
