I lived up the street fished that lake for twenty years never aeen the fist one. Brackish water they are not real fond of.

There may be an alligator in any body of water in Florida. This includes swimming pools. And believe it or not alligators can climb fences.

We did not see any but the camp is only open daylight hours, no camping and most of the area open to the public are pretty much cleared and populated.
