My family wants to explore new beaches this summer. This park and it looks amazing. Questions: is there a bathroom near the beach where the lake meets the ocean? How far is the walk to that area?Is the walk handicapped friendly?

The walk to the beach from the parking lot is long. Walking thru sand and very little shade. There are benches every so often the sit and rest if needed. Restrooms are located in the office next to parking lot & at the top of the trail leading to the beach area. But its worth it!

There's public facility in the camp itself but not close to the Beach. It's probably 1/4 of a mile from Camp Hele. The Park Rangers would probably accomodate with prior notice to the Beach.
