For an extra fee, depending on the size of the camper spot, some KOAs do allow a tent to be set up, but you will need to call them directly to ask, they don't specify that very well on their website.
You will want to call them to double check, we stayed in one of the cabins.

There is a lot of back in sites with tent sites directly behind them you will probably have to pay separately for the tent site
