They suggest 75 minutes early. Once you have checked in, you can tour the medieval village, watch the knighting ceremony and have a drink. It takes 15-20 mins just to check in.
We arrived about 15 minutes early and it was ok. I may suggest 20 if you have a larger group
We arrived at 6 p.m. and there was already a line so probably be there for 5:45
At least 6, there will be a line to get in and some cool stuff to check out inside and preparation for the tournament. You can arrive later like 6:30 if you don't want to look at all the exhibits and go to the gift shop
Depending on size of crowd, and if you pre purchased passes id allow 30 minutes to 45 minutes prior should be plenty of time to get your passes, take your photo if you want, and get to your seats. They usually have it roped off until about 20 minutes or so prior to showtime to allow the previous crowd to leave/clean up. This will give you time to look around a bit too at their souvenirs etc
