i started noticing hair missing on her belly about a year ago but didnt actually see her overcleaning...then it spread to her legs. its been really bad for a couple of months. i want to take her to the vet but ive been afraid itll be too expensive :(

If you see any changes in your cats normal behavior is a trip to the vet. Your cat could have anything from fleas to something that medication is needed. City kitty is a fantastic veterinary hospital. They were great with my cat Esheah and did everything to figure out what was wrong with her (she passed away June 16th, 2018). She had blood tests and the vet had kept the testing in my budget I had to work with. I highly recommend them for care for your cat.

If there are any noteable changes to your cats behavior esp something like this always consult your vet

Is she on flea/tick prevention? If not, she might have picked something up...how long has her behavior been this way?
