Thank you for your questions, Teresa. The train travels through the Black Hills National Forest, so there are wooded areas, pine trees and rock formations. You also have views of Black Elk Peak and old mining encampments. There is usually deer or turkey along the route, which follows Battle Creek.
The Black hills some wild life and the highest elevation points you go from Hill City to keystone
It's a train ride through that area of the country. Short but fun!
