Do you have to put something on a campsite at Deer Ridge Campground, or can you pay for it and put the slip in the slot to reserve it?

Campsites are considered occupied only when fee has been paid, registration completed, and placed in the deposit box and camping equipment occupies the site. By putting camping equipment (tent, camper, vehicle, chairs, etc) on the site lets other know the site is paid for. If you have any other questions you can talk to Park Staff at 712-947-4270.
