Always a great time here. Trail and area are adequately maintained. There is a vault toilet and a drinking water pump available. Usually quite quiet.

Nice campground. Crowded but other campers were well behaved. Sheriff did drive through a couple times. Clinton Lake needs more tent camping open in the winter.

Love this park. Excellent hiking for a flatlander. A few of the campsite awayfromthe main have becometrashed out. I counted over 30 Busch lite cans at on site. Very sad .

Love the fact that there is a free camping area near Kansas. No shower, but close to the lake. They had water pumps, but couldn't figure out how they worked. Washrooms on site and there was lots of room even in peak season. (lake pictures are from a campsite about av hour hike in)

It's not bad at all at the sites closer to the water. Just be prepared for a long hike into the camp site.
In designated campsites. Is open currently. No reservations, first come first serve

It's a Corp of engineers site, so their rules apply. I think 14 days, but it would be pretty uncouth to stay that long.
