We were planning a visit in the next couple of days,about 6 hour drive,and are concerned about water clarity with all the rain from the recent storm.should we wait or is it clear enough for a good visit?We appreciate any firsthand info.thanks!9-4-18

Lots of rain here in the past three days and is to continue thru today. Due to storm Gordon. Not sure exactly when you are coming but like Shane said just call. good people there, they will be glad to answer any and all questions.

It does a little cloudy when it has been raining. Best thing to do is call over there and ask for Fred Provost ( he is yhe park ranger). Ask him what the spring is like on the day you want to go.

This spring is comparable to a swimming pool. It's very clear and 68 degrees year round. I've been twice and loved it!

Watch out for people who try to covert you to their religion, it has happened twice to us,last time it was jehovas, in late September. The park should warn you,or the people pushing religion in the park.
