I recently used the parking service at TPA and did some research ahead of time. You can park in any of the three in reality, cost and convenience is the difference with economy being the cheapest and furtherest away. Having said that there is a frequent train service and bit of a longer walk required. If you do opt ahead of time prepaying will give you a discount as well.
Short term is used for hours only... first hour free...long term is days long
Long term is for left for days. Short term is for hour or so. Economy is cheap for long term
