The police will only allow you long enough to pick up and drop off and say a quick goodbye. No parking technically allowed.
Go to cell phone lot and have your party call after gathering luggage ground level and exiting to pick up area ... very easy!
They prefer you to use the cell phone lot. Basically long enough to pickup people and/or load baggage.

They rush you out quickly and will ticket you after one warning. It's easier to park in the short term parking garage (1st hour is free). The garage is directly above the main terminal. Tell whoever your picking up what floor you're on and have them tell you which elevator they're getting on. (There are 2 red and two blue elevator banks, each with the name of famous aviation leaders, like Sikorsky) no one hassles you to leave and it's very easy for the travelers.
