We swam in the river with our grandkids and it was a slow moving but I guess it would depend on the weather
Use caution...the water is much higher and flowing faster!
The river is currently running higher than usual, but has dropped quite a bit in the last two weeks. There are some sandy areas that are safe for children who are supervised. Please feel welcome to ask a staff member for the best swimming and fishing areas.
While we were there the river was way to high and fast for kids. Additionally, the river has Salamanders that are poisonous. So be very cautious because there are a ton of Salamanders.
