Had a great experience at this RV resort! The staff was very friendly, Ranger John was very helpful In showing us around the resort as well as information outside the park of things to do. The sites are cleaned and well kept. They had some fun recreational things to do in the resort itself such as a river dam trail and other scenic routes. 5 miles from Yosemite itself and about 30-35 miles to Yosemite valley. Recommend for Familyβs and couples to get away. No cell service, but not too far you can get some or you can pay for wifi, but why do that, when thatβs the best part of camping!

We were extremely happy with our recent STAY June 7-9th. A Little too close to each other on RV campsites. Especially Sewer outlets. John from Maintenance (Supervisor. , I think) made our stay more comfortable and welcomed to the Resort. Thanks John. 5 π STARS FOR JOHN.

A bad resort in a beautiful area. None of the amenities were open. They caution you at front not to buy wifi since it's spotty. The only place to get wifi is a 10x10 area in front of the Basecamp. The gender neutral bathrooms were super dirty, no soap, no towels and hair and dirt everywhere. The communal bathrooms had the same problem with the toilets but the showers seemed cleaner. Hot water tanks were completely rusted out. And then the spots were no larger than a few feet on each side of your rv. We were 10 ft away from our neighbor on both sides. The river spots were a little larger but you have to get there early for them. I do have to say staff was very nice upon entry.

Great, relaxing place. Camping spaces are first come first served. They have running water at the sites for clean up. The bathrooms are clean! And some of them have warm water while others have heat blowing. They have a spot on the grounds where you can go for wifi. Itβs incredibly slow, butβ¦ they also have many amenities that we didnβt explore. Staff is very friendly, the grounds are clean.

Yes. I recommend the America the beautiful parks pass if you visit many parks
There is a local number and a national one that also sells thousand oaks memberships. Press 0 at the prompt during office hours to get the local staff (who were super nice)
Never spent the nite in one, but I'm sure with the right sleepwear and bedding it would be heavenly. I live in the mountains.
No . I don't think so . I believe it's only trailers and tent sites
The lodge is closed for now because of COVID. If you rent a cabin or yurt you will have a microwave.
Yes, some campsites could have two or three four person tents. I saw lots of people do this.
They have regular bathrooms that even have showers
We had snow in June in Yosemite. Take them along.
We went up with a 40 ft dynamax dx3 towing a jeep. Some would say difficult "yes." In my opinion, its nerve racking but very doable. Take it slow and dont look down! Lol. Call ahead to check that you wont need tire chains on the way up. I'd do it again if I ever had the chance. No Short Cuts! Ignore google. Stay on the main road and you'll do great.
Yes. As it is the second to last stop, reservations are strongly encouraged.
We swam in the river with our grandkids and it was a slow moving but I guess it would depend on the weather
Membership not required. They offer Good Sam and active military discounts.
A van outfitted to sleep in is considered a motorhome. If you sleep outside of the van in a tent you are a tent camper. I hope this helps π
The bunkhouse units do have a firepit. They do not have bbq grills. The bunkhouse only has a full bed and a bunk bed. A table with 2 chairs and a ceiling fan and a small electric heater.
They have an office about 1/4 mile from the Yurts. Very eazy. Bring your copy of reservation then they give you keys, map of the area and any other information you request. They were efficient and very helpful.
Yes one tent is allowed on your RV site with your rig.
Yes they have 9 public shower houses on property. For guest use. There is a day use fee to use them if your not staying.
