Customer service is great, internet service not so much. We don’t have any type of gaming or electronics requiring internet, we have one tv, two cell phones (one not in the home often) and a laptop that is hardly used. Internet is extremely spotty and I usually have to turn Wi-Fi off on my phone for it to work. We’ve had several outages in the evenings where our router just shows a red light and we can’t stream anything on tv or use our phones. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you work from home unfortunately. It’s also unfortunate because the sign up fees (router included) was $200 and I feel like I’m paying $50 for nothing most of the time. I really do like this company and would love to continue to support them but if I’m paying for a service I do expect for the service to be at least mostly efficient. If anything changes I will revise my review accordingly!

They are on top of things real fast. I really like this company. Highly recommend them.

First of all, I am not a friend of the company trying to up their stars as the last review suggests. I have been a customer from the very beginning. I have had minor issues that the company has fixed with no excuses or complaints. I've had major issues such as a divorce that wasn't the easiest thing to deal with, the ex had internet in her name. Customer service helped with switching her name to mine, not to mention the ex tried any and everything to cause problems for the new wife and I to include trying to disrupt our internet but I had already contacted customer service so they went above and beyond to do their job correctly. The wife and I just recently purchased a home out of state, called to find out about prorating our last ten days here in California. The customer service not only turned our payment method off so we wouldn't be charged for whole last month. They gave us those last ten days free of charge and wished us the best on new move. I would have given conifer ten star but sadly five is maxed. I'd recommend conifer for great Internet and the best customer service I've ever had from any company period.

Disappointing company. I’m the homeowner and my tenant Contracted with Conifer ….. to protect my property I insisted on being there during the installation, so that the dish antenna would not be attached to my house walls or roof. …. And it so happened that a nearby tree was the best location. A line of sight tree had branches in the way to the tower, and conifer does not even supply its workers with a chainsaw, astonishing! The technician used his own chainsaw. I wirked extensively with the installation, did far more work than the technician sent to get this connection made ….. and did not even get a thank you. I called customer service and explained that they were ungrateful for the work I did and asked for a small amount of compensation for my labor effort which was extensive and the use of my materials, which was not inconsequential. Absolutely no cooperation from them on this matter, they shoved it off as something to work out between me the homeowner and my tenant the exclusive user of the Internet service. The work I did is work that they would normally do to complete the job and they would charge an extra installation fee for it. When I consulted my accountant, a CPA, with a sterling reputation, he told me he agreed that conifer should compensate me. Difficult to work with these people. They have the California attitude, which is, BAD attitude. If you are in a good mood and you want to be sad instead, call customer service at Conifer. Finally, some of their positive reviews are from friends of theirs. They have a terrible rating to begin with at 3.4 stars currently. That is pretty much junkyard. It Would be even worse if it wasn’t for the fake positive reviews. This company could learn a lot from reading a little bit from the New Testament, start with Luke 17: 12 - 19 (Gratefulness) …. From the prince of peace himself, Jesus Christ.

Conifer's Greeley Hill tower is non-reliant on grid (PG&E) power so, yes, as long as you can power your modem and router, you're good!
Allcom Telecom, Inc based in Plymouth, CA does network cabling and wireless networking.
Conifer's services are for internet only and have no association with DirecTV... If you have internet through DirecTV now, I highly suggest dropping that part of your plan. Conifer's services are unlimited and DirecTV's are not. I still have DirecTV's regular TV service I'm conjunction with Conifer's internet. I had DirecTV internet for years and I can tell you that switching to Conifer is a night and day difference in quality!
They range from 2Mbps to 5Mbps to 100Mbps depending upon the speed package you choose.
