we're coming from England and hiring a Van for our travels, are we classed as a tent or an motorhome? We don't need hook up electric/water/sewage.

A van outfitted to sleep in is considered a motorhome. If you sleep outside of the van in a tent you are a tent camper. I hope this helps 😊
