At the Elgin facility the elderly, handicapped people, Vets and pregnant women or people renewing license plates do not have to stand in line. There is a sign directing people in these categories to a side door for faster service.
Yes, there are arrangements for the elderly and handicapped! They go front and center, no questions asked! I just took my 66 yr. old husband last week with his walker and was kindly escorted to the front and everyone was very gracious and kind to him. We went to the Elgin facility mid afternoon and the line was wrapped around the parking lot! Thank goodness we were able to park right at the door as we have a handicapped placard. In and out in about 45 min. Drivers license renewal and ID were no charge for him as he is a senior.
When I was in line an employee asked for anyone over 65, veterans or pregnant and they went to the front of the line. Let them know and you she should not have to wait as long as I did.
No idea. Call for information. Or go to website
U need to open ur mouth!
To my knowledge I don't think that there are arrangements for the elderly. I myself had to wait in line for almost 2 to 3 hours.
