Very disappointed I went this afternoon & they bluntly told me that I couldn’t go because I am not disabled or 55 …. I didn’t think that a pantry has different days for different people . This day and age everyone is being treated differently and it’s sad … obviously everyone that is going obviously needs help !!! It’s honestly really sad !!! Very disappointed

Food For Greater Elgin is open for normal distribution hours this weekend!
They help everyone. All you need to bring is an ID and two pieces of mail, and they will register you.

You do NOT need to bring in pay stubs, Identification such as drivers license, state ID, passport etc along with a current utility bill. You must reside in Elgin, So Elgin, East or West Dundee to shop.

Angela, Carole is correct and we will no longer be open on Saturdays beginning in September. We will also be closed on September 1st and 3rd for the Labor Day weekend.
