Why is 98 percent of everything you guys give out rotten? Rotten lettuce, rotten apples, rotten tomoatoes. Just don't give it out if it's bad it's not that hard. I'd rather go hungry then smell your disease infested food. Good day

Bob, Your concern is very important to us. We serve over 6300 people a month and we do the best we can to acquire the best possible product. We do rely on our dedicated volunteers to throw out any spoiled produce. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Sorry you have had that experience. The volunteers try checking before clients come thru for over ripe fruits and vegetables to eliminate the spoiled food. This has not been my experience the times I've been there.
