My mom is disable. She has a Walker. She has stage for COPD. During her cancer treatments this past summer her DL expired. I need to bring her to get ID. No appointments have be available and she has to sit inside/can't stand long to wait. Help??

Email them and explain your mother's situation and they will work with you and your mother to expedite the process and handle everything by email as much as possible.

I just need to change my address Drivers license stiil good for 2 more years. Because I am 80. I can not just change how you can find me. Every license place has had people out the door. If young teens can get a drivers license. Have not had a ticket or moved out of Texas. I want to let DPS know where I am , I tried to call number. Finally got a person in Austin texas DPS and they did not kn ou w the answer to my question. Really sad. I know . They are working you to death. You need to talk to the Governor Abbott. We have all these things so easy to just change my address. Because we have been driving for years me no wrecks my record shows how I have been driving since I was 15 yrs old. I do not even have to wear glasses !! So very sad. DPS should or who ever is running it is not using the tools they have !! They are not doing right by all the workers so very sad !!
