Since some campsites are used pretty regularly, available firewood can be hard to find.....how is it here? Also, are there rocks laying around for placing next to the fire? I know the area isn't too rocky, but hoped to find some for cooking, etc.

Plenty of wood, but you may want to bring your own dry kindling, such as a newspaper, since the ground cover tends to stay damp. The areas closest to the parking ring are pretty sparse with wood, but if you go a little past that, there's enough wood for everyone.

You wont find big pieces of wood, and I just dig a small pit and put the excess sand/dirt around the perimeter for a firepit. Make sure to fill the pit back in ehen you are done!

I have been out there the last couple nights. There is a decent amount of firewood if you take extra time to collect. It is wide spread. But I agree not much for rocks around.

Not much wood and few rocks.
