I ate here back in the '70s but it named something else and I can't remember it. What was the place called back then?

The Big Texan was formed in 1960. It's always been called The Big Texan. Although it was located at a different location and they've been at this new location for quite some time because Interstate 40 was moved.

It's been the Big Texan Steak Ranch since 1960s. It moved locations in 1970. A fire closed the restaurant for a bit then reopened in 1977

As I remember it has always been Big Texan Steak Ranch

Don't know, that was my first trip to Texas and the Big Texan.....
