A nice litte campground with a pool and clean showers. Be prepared for wind. Its a naturally windy area. We tent camp so we put our rain cover on and secured everything down really well. Staff is friendly. Pool was nice.

Our first visit at a KOA: very noisy with train and airport nearby. The hosts had signs posted that "oppsy fines" would be imposed for dog poop left at sites but we found dog poop at our site upon arrival and also at the dog park. We have 3 dogs and are diligent at cleaning up after. Bathroom next to front office unavailable due to door locking system not working. Host just shrugged and said to use rear facility that was not near our site. Pool was not operational. Then noisy neighbors elected to BBQ and visit well after quiet time but no one enforced rules. Upon leaving, host was yelling "5 miles an hour" despite the fact we WERE driving 5 miles an hour. Never again. Entire stay was very disappointing. Consider going anywhere but there!!!

Nice, convenient spots for camper vans near store and restroom. Much more enjoyable than getting surrounded by fifth wheels full of kids. 😉 Cleanest restrooms I've ever seen at a KOA and we've been cross country three times. Beautiful sunrises to boot!

I'm only here for the night. Seems like a nice place. My kids did enjoy the swings and monkey bars. Considering the playground has some metal equipment, having a means of shading it might be a good idea. There's a shaded area in the adjacent dog area after all.

Yes to tents yes. When you make your reservation let tjem know
There are actually two showers. Also recommend a back in by the trees for shade. There are no trees for the pull thru
It's highly advised as at times they can be booked full. Better to be safe then sorry.
There is dry storage.
2 people and no pets is about $70 for a cabin without bathroom or shower in cabin. $120 for deluxe cabin with shower and bathroom in cabin. The community bathrooms are close to cabins
Yes but only during a specific window. Check with the office for details.
No you'll need to drive a few miles into Amarillo. Its pretty easy to get around town.
Thats about right at 43 dollars per night. We stayed two nights on our way to denver from a year on the road full timing in our motor coach and starting our second year. Love working at KOA's around the country.
At any KOA. look for a night registration area. They will show where available sites are. Do not pull into any empty site, because it may be reserved.
