There are no longer bears there. Removed as nuisance years ago.

No you dont have to worry about bears, you'll at best see a snake or salamander under something of yours.

Lions and tigers no, but bears maybe. Watch out for the prarie dogs, buffalo, horses, flies, and snakes.

I didn't see any when we were there, but I'm not saying there aren't any out there. Just be prepared and careful just in case.
