Yes pets are allowed. They must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet while out walking. The information is listed on the website. www.nps.gov/thro Click on info Scroll down under picture you will see pets highlighted in blue, click on this and it will provide info you need.

"Pets must be leashed and are not allowed on trails." That is a direct quote from the map that the Park Ranger will hand you at the Park entrance. Pets (on leash) are allowed at campgrounds, scenic view pullouts, and trailhead parking areas.
