I didn't see any on our visit, but I did see plenty of other wild life!
They're there, but I've been quite a few times over the past 30-40 years and haven't seen one. If you want to see gators for certain, try Magnolia Springs State Park

Anytime of the year it's a beautiful place to visit and take your family. For a weekend or week .
Oh yes! Saw some 10 footers just dozing on the far bank to the left of the bridge. A young gator was not far from another walkway, sunning itself too.
You certainly can see them, but i didn't when i went.
Have not seen any this trip.
