The solution is to drink lots of water if you are having problems at high altitudes.
You're probably just not used to the altitude but you might ask your doctor. I'm 60 years old and have never gotten sick or dizzy going up there. I do have to get used to the thinner air with my breathing at the beginning of the season but it gets better every time I go up there and hike.
Depending on where you come from geographically, it's very common to get altitude sickness at those kind of altitudes. The good thing is that it is usually temporary, and if you just relax and enjoy yourself the effects will usually pass within a few hours.
