You can put in at the campground. They have a ramp. I would disagree with being a great place to stay. The swimming pool was nothing but scum, staff is way less than helpful and the docks are in such disrepair they have them blocked off. I highly recommend the State Park. I think you'll have a better experience.
yes we have a boat ramp you can swim in the lake but we don't have a beach area
Too cold to swim yet anywhere. Just wanted to kayak and raft for fun. Can we put in right there at the camp ground ?
I don't know if you really want to go swimming, there is alligators in the lake but rafting would be fine and there is a state park at Lake Marion in Santee, South Carolina. When I was there a year ago there was a 10 and a half foot alligator they were trying to catch at the boat docks. Lake Marion RV park is a great place to stay , they have a swimming pool there, the staff is very helpful and they have their own fishing piers.
