Why does the front desk never answer phone calls

I constantly called between 7pm and 9 cause I lost property in my room

Depends on the time of day. They have to multitask.

Lazy, we called there about a month ago was going to try again and took 3 phone calls to finally get someone, then to say they are booked. Bad experience overall. did plenty of business with this hotel but probably won't be doing any more.
