I Other than those two, if you think you can drive with your mom a longer distance, you can try a hospital in Atlanta such as Piedmont, Emory, Grady, etc. I would recommend that you try visiting an urgent care center first before going to the ER. Depending on your situation, sometimes they can treat you just as well as the ER and the wait time is nowhere near as long.
Try Northside Cherokee, in Canton. Went there about 8:30 one evening with a grandson who'd just broken his ankle playing. The waiting room was nearly empty; we were seen right away. Being a fairly new hospital, it hasn't gotten so horribly overcrowded like Wellstar Kennestone, which has been in the same spot for decades.
