It's just like any other creek/ river. I have been going for a few years and I've only seen 2 in 3 years. As long as you are not trying to stay against the bank in the grassy areas you are fine. But always use caution

I've only seen one in 20+ trips over the last few years. Water is super clear most of the time. Also, the water is really cold where you put in! Makes those hot summer days a little more bearable! Highly recommend this place. The owners are really nice. They go over and above to make your experience great!

I went swimming in it personally. I didnt see any. But that doesnt mean they aren't there. There had been a lot of rain before we went on our trip so the river wasn't clear. But the owner said it usually is very clear water. Wonderful place. Highly recommend!
