They have used covid as a excuse to stay closed, you can’t even drop off your stuff there you have to send it through the mail which is not safe. They are very unprofessional. Instead of writing my address on the envelope to send back to me, they tore my address off the envelope I sent them and taped it to the front. This is a SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE. It should be way more professional since they are dealing with such important information.

You can go into the physical office with proof of identification (Driver's License, Birth Certificate, etc) and they will submit your request. You should receive it within about 2 weeks.

Take your old social security card, drivers license and marriage certificate to the social security office. They will reissue your social security card with your new name at no charge.
