The Oregon Food Bank is a wholesale-level distribution network. It receives bulk (truck loads) shipments of fresh and frozen foods and repackages them and distributes to food pantries, meals programs, etc who then distribute to families and individuals. There are many local food pantries, run by chuches, schools, and others. If you do not know where to find the closest one, you can ask any social service agency or call your city government or a nearby church. They will usually have this information and most will not require that you identify yourself.
Just go their... I'm sure they will be more then willing to help you out... that s how I went...
