You will be treated with dignity and kindness here. Want to mention that there is no longer a clothing closet at this location.

Love All their Staff And Program Manager!!! Is Awesome!

Extremely helpful and wonderful people. I cannot afford much food and this was such a blessing to keep me afloat. :) Please make sure to clear up your schedule. It can take a couple hours, but it's so very worth it to be able to eat!! Just make it your only thong for the day and it'll be fine. Thank you to the staff that help make it possible.

I am shocked at the amount of food I was able to get. They are amazing!!!! Fruit, veggies, meat, milk, staples, and more. So thankful!!! π Be prepared to wait in line, and maybe bring a book. But totally worth it. Kind and friendly service, and a cart full of food for my family!

Yes you can, and unlike a lot of other programs they don't have a set service area so anyone from anywhere can get food.
I think so. I live in the Pearl and there are places open.
No, you can get children's clothes at Mainspring. On 82nd and Fremont.
I asked about bringing my grapes in to donate and the woman directing traffic and doing my paperwork said βYes! Absolutely!β I have yet to deliver them but my understanding is yes, you may donate garden produce to them. (My grapes are organic, stubborn and refuse vaccination.)
Yes. We are currently giving out food boxes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, from 1 to 3pm. *********UPDATE: JANUARY 21, 2021******* We are currently distributing food boxes on THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS from 12 to 3p.
I believe so. I know if u have a pet and go in for assistance they help with dog or cat food.
Good Day and thank you for your question. Although our clients are waiting outside during renovations, we are continuing to operate as we would inside the building. Oregon law prohibits all animals except for service animals in grocery stores, restaurants, and other food establishments. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines a service animal as a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Dogs or therapy animals whose function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals according to the ADA, even with a doctorβs note. Even though friendly, we cannot permit pets onsite. We are, however, looking at possible solutions for people who don't have anywhere to safely leave their pets nor anyone who can look after their pets while they access services at NEFP. There have been some great suggestions that need some additional work to follow up on. If interested, we'd love your feedback.
Yes they will still give you food, and they are open today at 1 so be there around 12:30 to get your place in line
Yes you can. Our pantry has no geographic boundaries, which means you can live anywhere and receive assistance from us. We are available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 1pm until 4pm.
All u need is an ID or photo copy of an ID or piece of mail for everyone ur going to picking up food from including children. U can go I believe 6 times a year
I don't remember seeing any baby supplies. Howeve they usually will give away small amounts of pet food and feminine hygiene products in the food section, they might occasionally have baby stuff in that section.
